Cooking Time: Under 30 minutes
|
Ingredients:
|
| |
16 oz firm tofu |
| |
1/2 cup flavored bread crumbs or flax seed meal |
| |
2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds |
| |
1/2 cup olive or Sesame Oil |
|
| |
Directions:
Drain tofu well. Cut into long sticks, the thickness of your middle finger. Cut lengthwise slabs and then cut these into thick sticks. Combine bread crumbs and Sesame Seeds. Dip each stick into oil and then roll in bread crumb mixture. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for about twenty minutes at four hundred degrees, turn once. For really crisp stix, place oven on broil for a couple minutes and watch carefully. Serve hot or cold with your favorite sauce or dip. Nutrition analysis includes bread crumbs.
